There is just a little blurb of info about each underground animal and they are divided into group by habitat. The pull-out pages are nicely illustrated. The illustrations even show what many of the burrows may look like underground. I recommend this for primary classrooms, especially if you study animals or the underground.

not a reader, just for reference

I've only read the first 2 chapters, but the book to this point is riddled with grammatical and factual errors. For example, on the first page of Ch. 2: (The)"Atmosphere is a blanket of gasses, suspended liquids and solids that entirely envelop the earth, extending outward for several thousand kilometers." Admittedly it's hard to tell where the atmosphere ends, but several thousand?! This is an extreme example, but I'll definitely be sure to read the theoretical documentation very closely. However, the documentation is why I have the book, as it does provide a dedicated review of the work that's been done up to the present and has enough references to keep me reading for a while. Thanks for the references if not the writing.
